Juniper flavored spirits were originally a Dutch specialty, eventually spreading to England, and  today, produced all over the world.  Gin is produced from a variety of botanicals including juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, orris root and citrus peel.  Classic gin cocktails include The Gimlet, Martini and Negroni.  The Negroni is so popular it has its own dedicated week in September.     Learn more about Gin and the Negroni https://www.wsetglobal.com and  https://www.foodandwine.com/cocktails-spirits/gin/brief-history-negroni
